Early in 2005 I began looking around at how to start my own ecommerce website selling animal collectibles, collectible figurines and collectible dolls. 

As I built my site and published it, I became very aware of how important it is to have a well optimised site that is easily found and indexed by Google, Yahoo and MSN, the three biggest search engines on the net.

My research caused me to recognise that I was not alone in this quest to find more traffic for my site. Statistically only the top 4% of all websites are optimised well. This means that 96%, or around an estimated 200,000,000 websites simply site there, decorating cyber space.
